We place special emphasis on DNA Genetic Testing for Beef Tenderness, Marbling, and Feed Efficiency at our farm. . We are developing two herds. We love our fullblood Senepols and will continue to develop them. MARY PAGE is bred to Longford and is scheduled to calve August 31, 2010. We also are developing a "black" herd and will have registered Senegus in the future. Our first Fullblood Senegus will arrive in early September, 2010. We have heifers bred to bulls from Sears Angus and Touchstone Angus of Nebraska and Wyoming. Our base Angus, SVF St. Croix's Shadow, is a four year old bull whose paternal grandsire is the famous Angus bull that has sired over 30,000 calves, New Design 878. Shadow is an eight star bull, scoring 6 of 6 on Beef Tenderness. (TOP 20% Pfizer MVP for Tenderness)
